Retraining Thoroughbreds. First clinic scheduled for Friday April 4 April 2008. - February 27 2008
The TRC has scheduled a series of 1 day clinics in order to provide help and advice on retraining your thoroughbred. The first clinic will be restricted to 10 places only. The clinic will run from 10a.m - 3p.m, Friday 4 April 2008 and will be lead by Julie Robinson, trainer and yard director. Light refreshments will be provided.
The format of the day, although flexible, will include a tour of the facilities, advice on training methods, common problems, feeding and exercising the thoroughbred. All participants will have the opportunity to discuss individual queries and problems and will be observing horses being worked and trained at the centre. The clinic will be invaluable to those who own or are considering owning a thoroughbred.
As places are limited it is advisable to book well in advance by calling the office number. Places are available at £100 per person and only by pre-booking. There will be no places available on the day. All participants must be over 18 years of age. It is not possible to bring your own horse.
