Virgin London Marathon 2012

TRC supporter Annette Robson will be running for the TRC in the 2012 Virgin London Marathon is to be held on Sunday 22 April 2012.

Annette says "I am delighted to have been chosen for the one and only place with The Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre to run in the London Marathon.  It is something I said as a twelve-year-old that I would do before I was forty..... well, I will be forty and one month at the time of the marathon!

Horses have always been a passion of mine and after working with racehorses I have seen how deserving they are of a good quality of life after their racing career comes to an end.

My training is going to plan and I'm finding it really quite enjoyable.  Especially the long Sunday runs; perhaps that is due to being out of the house away from two loud, boisterous boys!
