Vacancies
Would you like to volunteer your time looking after thoroughbred ex-racehorses?
We are looking for confident, competent riders with experience of handling and riding vibrant or young thoroughbreds. Volunteers are urgently needed for general yard duties, looking after and exercising our horses.
The Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre is the leading charity dedicated to the welfare, re-training and re-homing of ex-racehorses. Being a TRC volunteer will look great on your CV and give you the satisfaction of helping our horses find a new life and purpose. You will be working alongside equine professionals including our Trainer, veterinary surgeons, physiotherapists and farriers.
You must be over 18 years of age. We will require two references to demonstrate your previous experience of working with horses, particularly thoroughbreds. We particularly need weekend volunteers but also have hours available Monday – Friday.
Please call 01524 812649 for an initial informal discussion with our Yard Manager Kath.
