From the north or south -
Leave the M6 at Junction 35 and follow signs to Over Kellet on the Kirkby Lonsdale road.
Go straight through Over Kellet and approximately 2 miles up that road, just past the Redwell Caravan Park, there is a left hand bend (with white railings) opposite which is a turning to the right signed Lancaster. Take this road and, after approximately 2 miles, where the road starts to bend sharply right, there is a left hand turn signed to Aughton, but easy to overshoot because the sign is small. Turn left down this road, which is Aughton Road, and after about a quarter of a mile you will come to the entrance to Whinney Hill, the first lane on the left.
From North Yorkshire –
Take the A65 to Kirkby Lonsdale then follow the B6254 towards Carnforth, going through the villages of Whittington and Arkholme. After leaving Arkholme you will come to the Red Well pub on the right hand side of the road. Immediately after the Red Well take the left fork signed for Lancaster. Take this road and after approximately 2 miles where the road starts to bend right, there is a left hand turn signed to Aughton, but easy to overshoot as the sign is small. Turn left down this road, which is Aughton Road, and after about a quarter of a mile you will come to the entrance to Whinney Hill, the first lane on the left.
From Lancaster City Centre –
Leave the city up Caton Road. Go under the motorway on the A683. Stay on this for a couple of miles then just after the 30 mph sign take the left turn signed for Halton and cross the river at the Crook of Lune. Take the second road on the right, Green Lane, signed for Nether Kellet. At the T junction turn right towards Kirkby Lonsdale. Stay on this road for another couple of miles then as it bends sharp left, take the road on the right Aughton Road. After a quarter of a mile you will come to the entrance to Whinney Hill, the first lane on the left.
